Programs

Hackathons & open challenges.

Reef Support collaborates with universities, NGOs, and funders to host or support hackathons focused on coral reefs, seagrass, and mangroves.

How the program works

We scope the challenge together, provide data and mentorship, and connect the strongest solutions with pilots and partners.

Co-design the challenge

Define the research or monitoring question with local partners.

Share data & mentorship

Provide datasets, context, and mentors to guide participants.

Pilot the outcomes

Support follow-up pilots with teams ready to test solutions.
