OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES
We respect and follow the Future Of Tourism sustainable practices maintained by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) for both industry and destinations.

Collaboration with Local Destination
We seek to develop all tourism and conservation through a collaborative management structure with equal participation by our partners, NGOS, government, the private sector and society to ensure that our actions have the best impact on local destinations.

Choose Quality over Quantity
We manage exclusive tourism development based on quality of experience, not quantity of travelers, so as to enhance the travel anddiving experience while sustaining the character of the destination and benefiting local communities and marine environments.

Mitigate Climate Impacts
Importantly, tourism is also an opportunity for public education around climate change, especially how it manifests itself locally and the consequences that flow from it. Visitors to tropical beach resorts or onone of our programs, for instance, should go home with a better idea of climate impacts on coral reefs and on our marine food chain, as well asconsequences of sea-level rise. This is best done through the impact of tourism, rather than unrequested lecturing.

Protecting Sense of Place
We bring people directly into the local communities - eating in their homes, working alongside divers and park officers, visiting locally owned businesses, and sleeping in locally-owned accommodations - which helps preserve a unique sense of place, through the culture that defines the country.
